Full investment and technical documentation is prepared for the realization of the multipurpose hydro system ,,Zletovica,,. The preparation of the documentation includes eminent projecting companies from the Republic of Macedonia (EMO-HEP-Skopje and Office for water economy of the Republic of Macedonia-Skopje). According to the planned, The Capital multipurpose project hydro system ,,Zletovica,, should be realized in three phases as follows: I phase. Objects for water supply:
The hydro system ,,Zletovica,, is in the phase of realization and so far the following activities are finished: According to the signed Agreement for the loan XI/2003, between the government of the Republic of Macedonia and The Japan Bank for International Cooperation ( JBIC ), a loan with good conditions is approved : 25 years-repayment period, interest 1,5 % and Grace period of 7 years. The Yen loan covers 80% ( 82 million $USA) of the total amount for the I- st phase from HS ,,Zletovica,, , and the rest of the financials would be successively provided by domestic sources – Budget of the Republic of Macedonia in amount of 21,23 million $ USA. The implementation of the project HS ,,Zletovica,, I – st phase started with the election of the Japanese consultant company PCI and after signing the Agreement for consultant services XI/2004. According to the dynamics, in the first six months of 2005, constant revision of the technical documentation is made. The period for the preparation of international tender for the constructor of the civil works follows, as well as the inception of the construction in IX/2005.
The land acquisition for the dam body, accumulation, rock quarry, living settlement, incoming pipeline for the Kuceska river and access road to Knezevo dam is 99% completed. The completion of the land acquisition is terminated because of unclear relations between the owners of the land. Examination and rehabilitation on 3.3 km old line from total length of 19.0 km, of distribution water supplying pipeline for Probistip and Zletovo has been started. Now is finis the road from Zletovo to dam "Knezevo" whit total length of 19,8 km whit asphalt of 9,0 km which means are from JEN credits. Because PE HS "Zletovica" is responsible for regime water in Zletovica River and consulting with SAPROV team we build Limnigrav station for hydrology measurement on the wather.Antil now we bill the station and remain to put the equipment. Because of communication between the object on HS "Zletovica" (intake for Probistip and Zletovo; intake for Stip, Sv.Nikole, Karbinci, Lozovo and Kratovo est.) will be whit fiber-optical cable. For this purpose we put up protection intestine for fiber-optical cable from Zletovo to dam "Knezevo" with length of 20km. Ministry of agriculture,foresrty and water economy announce international tender for Zletovica basin water utilization improvement project. The tender is for choice the constrictor of: Package 2: The dam and related structures 1. Rock fill dam with asphalt core ( diaphragm) - Maximal height of the dam 85 m - Gross volume of the inflow 1.700.000 m³ 2. Deverse tunnel for the river- 320m long and diameter of 3,4m 3. Bottom intake D= 2,0 m steel pipe 4. The overflowing body is whole type overflowing tunnel D= 3,8 m ,which ends up with ski-jump construction 5. The construction period: Three years, from August, 2006 to August, 2009. The procedure for contractor is finished and contractor for Packet 2: dam and related structures is chosen and is consortium of "Beton" and "Granit" from Macedonija
Package 3: Intakes and water supply pipelines 1. Intakes - Construction of intake no. 1 - Construction of intake no. 3 - Reconstruction of the intake for water supply of Kratovo 2. Distribution pipelines for raw water to Sveti Nikole and Stip, totally 58,6 km long and inner diameter of the pipe 850 to 460 mm. The procedure for constructor is finished and constructor for Package 3: Intakes and water supply pipelines are chosen and is consortium of FZC "11 October", "Beton" and "Granit" from Macedonia
